A lot of preparation went into making our featured article in our magazine. It was carried out through multiple classes and took a while to complete.
The first thing we did was pick the person and business to write about. This was done for Media Writing class and it was a bit difficult. I chose to interview and write about Prepress and Graphics person Ryan McCormick from Sisson Printing Inc.
After writing, we had to actually design the magazine part. It had to include a Lead-in Spread, and 2 more Featured Article Spreads. This was tough because I sometimes didn’t have enough type. So I went back and re-wrote my information to better fit my magazine.
