In my Multimedia Portfolio class, we were assigned to do a Laser Engraving Project. We looked at JDS website to decide what we wanted to engrave. A lot of people knew that they were going to engrave their logo on their product. I was looking through the website and saw that they had engravable wallets. I really like this idea and I decides to engrave my logo on that.
I really enjoyed using the laser engraver so I wanted to use it for my original design piece too. I designed a guitar pickguard and we engraved the design and cut it out of wood. I was lucky enough that I only had to do very minor changes to make it fit on my guitar. It looks great and I hope I can do more like it.
