After finishing all of the different components that went into the magazine, we had to put it all together and add a folio.
Putting all the different articles and ads together was simple. We placed the pdfs into one InDesign file into the page that it is suposed to go. But creating the folios was the final part.
To create the folio, we had to edit the master page. On the master page, we had to put the page number, name of the magazine, and name of the article. After doing this all the other pages would have this on them. If we needed to edit the folios, we needed to override the folio settings and change them manually. I enjoyed making the magazine and can’t wait to work on it more next semester.
