In our Multimedia Portfolio class, each one of us was assigned a topic to present to the class. I was assigned to present a refresher of the program After Effects.

After Effects is a video editing and animation program that we rarely use in class. So this was a bit out of comfort zone, but it was still useful stuff to know. I started the presentation with a definition and the uses of After Effects. Then I listed some up-and-coming projects that we could use After Effects for, most importantly our Self-Promotional Video.

I used a YouTube video to demonstrate some of the basic functions and parts of After Effects because I felt that the video was very informational and could explain it better than I could. And lastly, I gave my classmates some tools and places to look if they were having trouble using After Effects. This included YouTube Videos, Abobe’s website, and a book that we previously used our first year of classes.
