A while ago, I knew that I wanted to look into other forms of music recording like records or cassettes. I had this cool idea to start collecting cassettes from bands and music I had never listened to before. I love listening to new music and exploring all the different genres and sounds.
This tape is from the compilation, We Used to Have Girlfriends by The Leave Me Be’s. It was released in June of 2013 with 5 songs. It has a runtime of around 15 minutes. I really do like how this band sounds, I would say their sound is very surf-rock or garage-rock, very good. My favorite song is probably Pine Tree Farms or Luv Sick. Something you would blast with your windows down during a summer drive. Very good, check it out!
