This is my 2nd CD of Daniel Johnston’s. Daniel Johnston was a musician known for his lo-fi, home-recorded music. He would write and record his music on cassette tapes and then hand them out to customers at a McDonald’s where he worked in the 80’s. He would later gain more popularity in the 90’s.
This CD is from Daniel Johnston’s 1983 album called Yip/Jump Music. This album has 20 songs and a run-time of an hour and 2 minutes.
MY OPINION
Like I said before, I really like Daniel Johnston. Even though he might not make the most appealing music to people, his music and work are inspiring. My favorite song is Casper the Friendly Ghost and recommend Daniel Johnston’s work if you like weird music or want to listen to something new.
