The next CD I have in my collection is Trash by Alice Cooper. Alice Cooper is a rock singer and band that started their music career in the 60s when he started a band with his high school friends. They went through various name changes, but settled on Alice Cooper in 1968.
Trash was released in 1989, and is one of their most popular to date. This album has 10 songs, my favorite being Poison. The song Poison is also one of their most popular songs out of all their work, with around 367 million streams on Spotify.
MY OPINION
I believe this whole album is very 80’s Classic Rock sounding. This 80’s sound is the thing I fell in love with when I first got into music. I never really listened to Alice Cooper, but similar bands like Twisted Sister and Motley Crue I liked.
The best song on this album is Poison, but it is also the first song on this album. So when listening to this album, the first song you listen to is really good, but then the rest of the songs aren’t very memorable. They can mash together and sound very similar at times, which can make for a boring listening experience.
