In New Media class we learned how to use the laser machine to engrave and cut many different things.
The first thing we did was design a design to engrave onto a pen. I made a drawing of a pen that looked like it was writing my name in cursive. I really enjoyed this project and learned how to efficiently use the laser.
The next thing we did was cut out packages. In Design Development, we made our own package designs. So in New Media, we got to cut them out, fold them, and make it a real package. I also really liked making our packages, it was one of my favorite projects this semester.
